Research Trip - Part 1

I took a day trip out to Kew Gardens today, I decided if I wanted to do some environmental concept art regarding forests, wild places etc then I would need some good photos for reference for my designs. I did make the mistake of allowing my nieces to tag along with me so I didn't get a chance to do observational drawings, however I did get some good photos I can use for reference. 

Kew Gardens is one of my favourite places to visit and it's a beautiful resource for art studies and photography, a must visit for every artist at least once. 

Just as it's important to do anatomy studies, life drawings of people I feel it's also important to study the natural world around us for inspiration.
